Cortijo Renovation Project
The Cortijo Project is a renovation initiative developed by the architecture firm Valero y Flores for their client, who aims to transform the property into a boutique hotel inspired by the traditional Spanish Cortijo style. The design combines authentic Andalusian charm with modern functionality, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for future guests.
The Challange
The main challenge was to capture the essence of a traditional cortijo while presenting it in a modern, attractive way. The client wanted to highlight the architecture while also conveying the lifestyle and warmth of the spaces, using minimal decoration and furniture so as not to distract from the design itself.
Our Solution
To achieve this balance, our team carefully developed photorealistic renders that emphasized the architecture as the central focus. We used subtle styling elements, warm natural lighting, and carefully chosen textures to bring out the authenticity of the Cortijo style without overpowering it. Instead of fully furnished interiors, we opted for a minimal approach: strategic placement of select furniture and natural elements that enhanced composition and scale while keeping the architectural lines clean and dominant.
The Results
We create structural beauty by innovating
The renders not only captured the authentic spirit of a Spanish Cortijo, but also became a powerful presentation tool for the architecture firm and their client. With these visuals, the project could be communicated clearly to stakeholders and potential investors, allowing them to understand the design intent before construction. The images helped generate excitement around the project, strengthening confidence in the renovation and supporting the client’s vision of transforming the property into a high-end boutique hotel.
